Born on November 25 1968 Jillian Noel Hennessy is a dynamic Canadian actor and a singer who is renowned for her significant contributions for American television. Her most well-known work is her stunning appearances in the American television shows Law & Order (where she captivated viewers for three season as prosecutor Claire Kincaid) and Crossing Jordan (where she portrayed Jordan Cavanaugh, the main character Jordan Cavanaugh). Hennessy was also able to showcase her talents in films like RoboCop 3 Most Wanted, Chutney Popcorn, and The Acting Class. She also produced and wrote these movies. Hennessy's acting career began in 1988 when she along with her twin sister were the Callgirls on Dead Ringers. The actress briefly appeared in Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story on Broadway in 1990. It was 1993 when the actress stepped out of the world of musicals and into the genre of sci-fi as Dr. Marie Lazarus. The following fall year, she was a part of in the ensemble cast of the NBC hit crime show Law & Order in the character of assistant district prosecutor Claire Kincaid.
