Winona Ryder - Winona Lauro Horowitz - was born at Winona Minnesota. She was named by her parents for the town where she grew as a child. Her father Michel Horowitz, and mother Cynthia Palmer are authors and editors. Ryder is a Jewish. Ryder believes that her father was from a Jewish background. Uria is Ryder's younger brother. Jubal, Sunyata and Sunyata are her half-siblings. Ryder as well as her entire family relocated to California's Mendocino County at the age of seven. Ryder was seven. The family resided in an area without electric power. Ryder began to be a committed reading book because there was television.
