Aaliyah Dana Haughton and Aarti Mann
Aaliyah Daniel Haughton exploded to fame in 1994 after the release of her first album Age Ain't Nothing But a Numer. She was only 15 at when the album was released and it was later renamed Gold. The group's collaboration heavily influential to R. Kelly's music, made her a star. In 1996, she collaborated with Jermaine Dpri as well as Timbaland for her second studio album One In A Million, which featured the #1 hit song If Your Girl only knew. Following the debut of the album Aaliyah gained international attention for her performance as an R&B singer. In 2000 she appeared in Romeo Must Die, a romance/action movie with Jet-Li. Joel Silver, film producer and director of the film Romeo Must Die caught her during an awards event. She was a part of the vampire film that was based on Anne Rice Queen of the Damned, which was released in 2002. She also starred as a character in The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions. In 2001, 1999 2002, 2003 and 1999 she was nominated for four Grammy awards. Aarti Mann.....................Aarti Mann also known as Aarti Majumdar is an American actor who is best known for her portrayal of Priya Koothrappali in the popular TV series The Big Bang Theory. She is a first-generation Indian-American who was born in Connecticut. Mann is her stage name. Mann originates from her husband's name Mankad. Aarti is the combination of Aarti as well as Aarti. Majumdar. Although her early career was filled with minor television and film roles, she gained more prominence in the mid-2000s. Alongside The Big Bang Theory, her other notable works include Leverage (2013) Suits (2014) and Grey's Anatomy (2017.) Her commercials have featured major brands, such as Volvo. She currently lives in Los Angeles along with her husband, daughter and pursues her acting career.
